Spend a week drawing, experimenting, and growing as an artist! Students will strengthen their observational drawing skills, explore color, and work with a wide range of professional drawing materials and techniques. Projects are inspired by both historical and contemporary artists, encouraging students to build technical skills while developing their own creative voice.

Whether your child is preparing for a New York City art and design high school portfolio or simply wants to become a stronger artist, this class provides individualized instruction in a fun, supportive studio environment. Open to all skill levels.

Class must have 4 students enrolled to run

Instructor: Learn from Michelle Hinebrook, a professional exhibiting artist and Pratt Institute MFA professor with over 25 years of teaching experience. She is the director of AEA and is passionate about helping K-12 students and adults develop their creative abilities.
